Hey! Day 6 of #BLOGTOBER and what better way to start the day off by sharing with you this beautiful eyeshadow palette! I was lucky enough to win a competition Stila were holding on twitter, the #STILA10K competition, where I won their top 10 products as they celebrated 10 years of service.
Now, Stila is a brand I have loved in the past but found my self swaying away from buying their products as I was coming across more and more products. Don’t get me wrong, I have picked the odd bit up now and again but not as often as I used to. Anyways, I have fallen back in LOVE with the Stila products. Some of their new products are amazing and the ones in which I won are out of this world.
The Eyes Are On The Window Palette has a variety of matte and shimmer shades in, from nude neutrals, to grey’s to browns and has every shade in to make the perfect eye look.
Lets talk about packaging of this palette, its so dreamy! I love when you buy a product and it has gold toned packaging, this ticks all the boxes for me! I love how it has a large square mirror on the lid of the palette to – perfect for on the god
Onto the shades, I want to talk about each individually as I LOVE them all. I think this is the first palette I have come across where I love every single shade within it.
Light – A matte nude shade which is great for the base of your eye look. As well as using this as a base, its a great shade to highlight your brow bone.
Individual – A matte light brown with a strong warm orange-like undertone. The colour is really pigmented and is great to blend out in the crease.
Being – A matte dark brown shade – I feel this shade has the most pigmentation to it within the palette. A little really does go a long way and you kinda need to be careful with it. I love this shade for smoking my corner out.
Kitten – A glitzy, shimmery champagne toned shade. It is beautiful, I love using this on the middle of my lid and also in the inner corner of my eye.
Affection – A dark rose gold but shimmery shade with a warm under tone. This shade is perfect for creating a bronzed eye look and also for deepening the shimmer of a brown smokey eye look.
Character – A deep brown matte shade with a hint of pink glitter to it. The glitter looks pink in the palette but it’s not extreme, its a really faint pink glitter but makes the shade look so pretty.
Thought – A beautiful taupe shade with a shimmering look to it. This shade is extremely pigmented, like Being, a little really does go a long way. Its a great shade to finish off a smoky look and also to use in the corner of your eye when creating a subtle but darker look. It also has a cooler undertone for a taupe shade. I love this one!
Heart – Another taupe shade, but this time in a light matte format. Its a great shade to use as a darker base and looks amazing blended into your crease.
Peace – A warm brown shade with a shimmery tone to it – again, great for a brown smokey eye.
Vitality – A shimmery light gold shade and one of my favourites out of the palette. I love the warmth of this shade and the pigmentation is unreal. I like to use this in the inner corner of my eye and also on the middle of my lid. Its such a beautiful shade.
Substance – A silver shade with a shimmer shade too it. As much as I love to this shade, I need to create more looks to use it. The pigmentation is great – *goes to create a new look with this shade*.
Essence – The final shade in the palette and what better way to finish it off than a matte black. What palette is complete without a matte black? High pigmentation, easy to blend and a little goes a long way. You only need the tiniest amount of this shade and its the ultimate shade to use for dark smokey eye looks.
So there we have it, all 12 shades and I love each and every one of them. I can’t really pin point one or two shades out of these 12 as all of them are amazing – so pigmented and easily blend. Stila also have some other palettes in the Eyes On The Window collection and I so have my eye on Spirit!
Overall, I am so impressed with the palette and have fallen in love with Stila all over again. Thank you Stila and again, congrats on 10K!
Do you use Stila products? What’s your favourites? I’d love to know!
Thanks for reading, xo
