Okay – so I kinda have a thing for samples, specifically skincare and make up samples, they are a good way of testing products before purchasing, especially for me as I have sensitive skin so I can see how my skin reacts to the products.
This slight obsession started way back before I was blogging, I would say for the past year or so and it all started when I entered on an online form to receive a sample of Chanel’s mascara, yep you heard it right a mascara from Chanel – now I thought to myself it can’t be real but in fact it was and around 14 days later a free Mascara turned up in my postbox and was beautifully wrapped and came boxed with a lovely note in there too (may I add I then went on to buy the mascara as it a really good one!)
Ever since I have seen many different ways of getting free samples including www.latestfreestuff.co.uk and So Post offers in which Latest Free Stuff do tend to advertise. I have been pretty lucky with the So Post offers, you have to be quick to snap them up but I have got a lot of things through them like the Olay Day Cream and L’Oreal Elvive Extraordinary Clay range which may I add are full size products probably worth around £4-6 each!
I have also received a lot of samples, and I mean a lot from when shopping online and you receive them for spending a certain amount of money such as with Feel Unique and Urban Decay!
Anyways, cut the long story short I have a huge range of samples which I use day in day out and still continue to grow the collection, I have samples from drugstore brands such as Nivea, L’Oreal and Bourjois but then also samples from high end companies such as Rodial, SBC, YSL, Chanel and Sothy’s.
I guess this post was just to let you all know about one of my (slight) obsessions and I am open to any questions if anyone has any!
Also – please note, I would never request a sample online if I knew I wasn’t going to use it or not willing to repurchase.
Thanks for reading xx
