Beauty Skincare

This month saw Dermalogica launch a new product, the Phyto Replenish Oil -an oil which give you the ultimate dewy skin! As someone who has dry and sensitive skin, a quick fix to getting glowing skin is something I adore!

First things first, Dermalogica’s Packaging – sleek, simple yet sophisticated. Their products come boxed and have a white and grey theme to them which I find makes their brand really stand out. The Phyto Replenish Oil comes in a, how I can only describe as a glass like ceramic bottle which is sturdy and if dropped doesn’t break (so far so good lol)!

A feather light oil which rapidly absorbs to reinforce your skins protective barrier and takes a three phase approach to replenish protective lipids that are caused by environmental stress and also aging.  Formulated without any artificial fragrances, colours, or parabens – this oil is great for all skin types, including us sensitive ones!

The oil takes a three step approach – Firstly, phytoactives from Camellia and Tamanu oils work towards helping the skins natural barrier to restore itself. Secondly, to lock in moisture and smooth out any visible lines, Chia Seed Oil and Orchid Flower creates the perfect lipid blend to do so. Finally, extracts of Sunflower, Rice Bran and Rosemary help create a luminous antioxidant which protects against free radical damage.

So how do you use the Phyto Replenish Oil?

Okay, so I have found multiple ways to use this oil! As advised on the Dermalogica website, after cleansing, add 4 to 6 drops to your moisturiser to give you that all over glowing look. I have been adding 4 drops to my Dermalogica Skin Smoothing Cream and can instantly see a difference from just normal application. Having said this, I have used it alone to give my skin a healthier, fresher look and have also applied it to my face before foundation. Either way, this oil literally gives you the ultimate dewyness you need!

Overall, I am really happy with the Phyto Replenish Oil – unlike most facial oils, it dries almost instantly and doesn’t leave your skin with that greasy, oily feeling. Having found an oil which doesn’t leave my skin feeling that way, I guess you can call this my new holy grail!

Retailing at £62, this little miracle is so worth it! Want to buy it, check it out here.

Have you tried any of Dermalogica’s products? I’d love to know!

    Thanks for reading, xo
