Hello you! Welcome to my second week of Skincare Saturday. Aproderm, is this weeks brand which is being featured in my Skincare Saturday series, I was lucky to try out two of their products and review on my blog and decided I would like to feature them in the series.
Aproderm are a healthcare brand providing emollient creams which help dry skin conditions such as eczema and psoriasis and helps relieve any irritation to your skin. As s sufferer of eczema and dry skin I was happy to try out these products to see how they worked for me.
Aproderm is moisturising, soothing and helps protect your skin. I have been using the creams for around a month or so now and it has cleared up the eczema on my arms in such a short space of time. Before using this, my elbows were constantly dry and flaky and the back of my arms and shoulders were red with eczema blotches all over.
For the past month or so, I have used this after cleansing and before applying my skin smoothing moisturiser and also applying to my arms ten minutes before bathing as it also acts as an emollient oil which helps prevent your skin from drying out further.
The Colloidal Oat Cream is the one which I have been using on my face after cleansing and the emollient cream is the one which I used before bathing and on my body rather than my face. Having said that, both creams can be used in either of the desired areas and are proven to restore your skins natural barrier.
Both creams are:
– Paraben Free
– SLS Free
– Fragrance Free
– Colour Free
– Halogen Free
The colloidal oat cream works well to calm any redness your skin may have, ensuring you scratch/itch less which then prevents any further damage being cause to your skin.
Overall I am really happy with the results I have got from using these creams. If you suffer from any dry skin conditions, I 100% recommend you trying this out. You can find out more and buy it here!
I will be hosting a giveaway with Aproderm on Bank Holiday Monday so keep your eyes peeled!
